Our Elite ID Clinics are a rare opportunity both to visit the University of Virginia and to be coached by the UVA Women's Soccer Staff. Both our Winter and Spring clinics include training sessions, games, interaction with current players and staff, and an exclusive, in-depth look at what it takes to play at the highest level of women's collegiate soccer. In addition, you will have the option to participate in a guided tour led by one of our staff members.
The College Prep Camp is designed for the serious soccer player who has her eye on playing college soccer. By working with top quality coaches, many of whom represent the different levels of college soccer and by training directly with our players from the University of Virginia, campers will get a realistic impression of what it takes to compete at the collegiate level. The focus of the camp is on improving the tactical and technical knowledge of the game at the highest level.
The Advanced Junior Camp is designed for the motivated youth soccer player who has her eye on developing to take her game to the next level The focus of the camp is on improving individual technique and skills, with an even greater emphasis on understanding the game and the player's role within a team.
An emphasis is placed on creating a challenging and complete training environment for goalkeepers. The Academy is designed to equip goalkeepers with the technique and tactics necessary for the position and to provide opportunities to apply the skills in a game situation. Goalkeepers are trained in the proper techniques for shot stopping, footwork, hand positioning, fitness, diving, handling crosses and cornerkicks, and more. Goalkeepers will train separately during training sessions and will then join field players for match play.
The Youth Academy Camp is the perfect environment for the young budding soccer player. This fun and educational camp is centered around the technical soccer skills with a curriculum based on improving technique, small sided soccer games and group activities.
